Family friendly Prince Edward Island

Nature is at her best in Prince Edward Island, with rolling green meadows, red sand beaches and surrounded by the sea; red sea, caused by the red earth. In fact, PEI looks just as sweet and beautiful as the Anne of Green Gables films.

Nova Scotia with Kids

Halifax is a very walkable city and we trotted around enough to safely say we know the compact city centre fairly well. Apart from just ambling around, we had a quick look at the citadel, enjoyed the public gardens, walking along Halifax harbour and exploring the excellent Maritime Museum of the Atlantic with its moving Titanic exhibit. Halifax is where they ended up, the living and dead.

Oslo is crisp and sunny today; – 10° C, so not very cold. About the same a bit north of here on Svalbard. Should you want to visit this stunning otherworldly Arctic archipelago, it’s only a few hours flying from Oslo.
