Ah yes, I should probably have written about this rather than just have a photo post. Altun Ha was a Mayan city, full of people and life for almost two millennia, until ca 1000 AD. It wasn’t properly discovered until the mid 60s. It’s only about 10 km from Belize City and an interesting place to wander around.
