Wherever I went in town, I always saw Colonia lighthouse, an ever-present guide, for sailors throughout the centuries - and for this jetlagged Scandinavian.
To me, nothing says Byron Bay quite so much as the Cape Byron Lighthouse. It shines a mighty powerful light and it's a beautiful lighthouse.
Nature is at her best in Prince Edward Island, with rolling green meadows, red sand beaches and surrounded by the sea; red sea, caused by the red earth. In fact, PEI looks just as sweet and beautiful as in the Anne of Green Gables films.
