In 1769, Captain Cook landed here at Mercury Bay on the Coromandel Peninsula in Aotearoa New Zealand to watch the transit of Mercury. I took this photo in 2003, with a non-digital camera.

The older cameras used to give us another perspective. Not like the digital cameras from today. Still, it was clear that digital was going to be the way, since you can make more photos.

New Zealand is absolut best country. I have very nice memories for this country. Amazing people and amazing nature. Best place to travel!
