It appears I might be able to add lawbreaker in Germany to my CV. I have just received a letter informing me of just such an exciting prospect.  Something to do with a hire car, as you can see – in Heidelberg on 22.09.2017 09:49:00. And as I was indeed in Heidelberg on 22.09.2017 09:49:00 with a hire car, it is not unlikely that I might be culpable.

As to the nature of my crime, I cannot tell you, as I have merely received a letter notifying me that I will shortly receive another letter where the fine office (fine office!) will give me ‘the opportunity to respond to the accusation of the violation.’
