I’m enjoying Instagram more and more. The majority of last month’s faves are from Southern Norway. But let’s let the photos speak for themselves; here are our most popular Instagrams in November.
1. Finnemarka, Norway
The single most popular photo is this forest scene from our cabin. I really like this one myself.
2. Lista, Norway
At Lista in Southern Norway, there’s this lovely little fishing village named Jøllestø.
3. Al Ain, United Arab Emirates
Moving to a warmer corner of the world for a bit, here’s a little river running underground from Oman to the oasis at Al Ain in Abu Dhabi emirate. The water is lovely and hot.
4. Drammen, Norway
Back in Norway, here’s Konnerud Old Church in the river city Drammen
5. Lista, Norway
Another Jøllestø fave.
6. Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei
A quick detour to South-East Asia, here’s the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the tiny country of Brunei on the north coast of Borneo.
7. Oslo, Norway
Havnelageret is in the city centre of Oslo. When this Nordic Neo-Barock structure was built in 1921, it was the largest concrete building in Europe.
8. Lista, Norway
More Jøllestø: boats pulled up on shore for the winter.
9. Lillesand, Norway
Lillesand in the rain. Still Southern Norway, but not quite as far South as Lista. Here’s a house for sale.
10. Dubai, United Arab Emirates
This boat stands at the entrance to Dubai Museum in Bastakiya, my favourite part of Dubai.
Pictures do not show up. Only see squares with a funny symbol.
Yes, just saw that happening on Firefox, but not other browsers. Thanks for letting me know.
No pictures in Chrome just now.
Only working with Internet Explorer and Safari, then. Odd. Looks like I have to find other ways of doing these posts. Thanks again, Gil 🙂
Beautiful pictures have opened up using Explorer. Thank you for posting them!
Thank you, Gil 🙂
Lovely photos! I love the one of the bridge and the forest scene of course! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for stopping by, Mary 🙂
Photos aren’t showing up in Chrome for me either, Sophie. Are you using Instagram’s embed function? I just copy the embed code for each photo from Instagram and have never had any issue with the photos showing up.
I’ve just used the URL of the relevant Instagram photo in the text, as I usually do. Odd that it appears in some browsers, but not in others. I’ll try your method next time. Thanks 🙂
